The main topics of this symposium are Gynecologic and Perinatal Pathology and Advances in Pathomorphology Techniqes. All papers regarding other symposium sections are also welcome (see program). The goal of this symposium is to promote multidisciplinary approach to human and animal pathology. We hope that you will enjoy the scientific program as well as the social events.

We also, hope that you will find some free time to enjoy our beautiful city and its surroundings. Zagreb is the capital of Croatia, one of the oldest European countries. The city is more than nine hundred years old. Zagreb has a population of one million inhabitants, 20 theatres, 40 museums and galleries, and many streets and squares that are museums themselves. Zagreb is the diplomatic, economic, business, cultural, comercial, sporting and scientific center of Croatia. Convention facilities in Zagreb include specialized halls where larger conventions and congresses can be held, while accommodation is provided in one of the city's hotels.

The climate in northern Croatia, including Zagreb is continental. Basic Croatian currency unit is KUNA. Foreign currency can be exchanged for local money according to the published rates of exchange in banks, official exchange offices, hotels and cash dispensers. Banks and post offices are normally open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. non-stop.

Public telephone boxes accept only phone cards available at news stands and post offices. Regardless to the means of transportation you choose Croatia and Zagreb are always geographically close to major European cities. Zagreb is linked to the rest of the world by an up-to-date telecommunication system.
